Returns
To request a return, please contact us within 14 days of delivery. You must send back the items within 30 days of receiving the return address label.
You must get our approval BEFORE returning any items. We will NOT ACCEPT any returns that have not been approved in advance.
We only accept returns for personalized items if one of the following conditions applies:
- The engraving does not match the input you submitted in the order.
- The item was damaged during delivery by the carrier.
- You received the wrong item.
If your return is approved, we will refund you 100% of the item cost minus shipping, and we will cover the return shipping cost. We will notify you of our decision by email. If your return is approved, we will also send you a return shipping label by email. If your return is denied, this decision is final and cannot be changed.
You should receive your refund within four weeks of sending back your item, but it may take longer in some cases. This depends on how long it takes for us to receive your return, (5 to 10 business days on average), how long it takes for us to process your return, (3 to 5 business days on average), and how long it takes for your bank to process our refund request, (5 to 10 business days on average). We are not responsible for any delays or issues with these processes. Your refund will be for the full amount of the product with applicable taxes, minus shipping. If you chose an expedited shipping option when you placed your order, your return label will not reflect that and will be by the method chosen by The Engraved Life.
If you want to return an item, please contact us with your order number and the details about the product you want to return, including a valid reason.
Shipping and Estimated Shipping Times
We can ship to almost any destination worldwide.
Currently, you can choose from USPS and UPS shipping options with different delivery speeds. These services may change at any time and will be updated on the checkout page.
Since we design and engrave each item according to your order, it takes us about three (3) days to finish your item in-house. When you place an order, you will see the shipping options available. You can expect to receive your order within three days of placing it plus the shipping time based on your choice. For example, if you select two (2) day shipping at checkout, your item should arrive in about five (5) days. The time we need to complete an order in-house may vary and we are not obligated to notify you of any changes.
Please understand that you are buying from an artisan and every piece is unique and requires time to design and engrave. We do not mass produce or have “in stock items”, as we specialize in personalized customizations. We create each item with care and attention to detail. International customers may experience longer shipping times depending on their location.
Please note that the shipping rates depend on the weight and zip code of your order. To follow the policies of the shipping companies we use, we will round up all weights to the next full pound. The minimum shipping weight accepted by our carriers is one (1) full pound. We have no control over the carrier’s policy.

Please include a detailed description of your request and why. We may require a picture of your requested item to be returned via contact@theengravedlife.com to validate your return request. All Returns are subject to approval and at the sole discretion of The Engraved Life.
